Recipe Pocket is designed to store and organize recipes without advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics.

Information Recipe Pocket handles

Recipe Pocket stores content that you choose to save, including recipe names, source links, images, ingredients, instructions, categories, tags, notes, favorites, and modification dates.

Grocery-list data is stored locally on your device. Recipe data is stored locally and, when iCloud is available, synchronized through Apple CloudKit in the private database associated with your iCloud account.

iCloud synchronization

Recipe Pocket uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize recipes between devices signed into the same iCloud account. Private CloudKit data is controlled through your Apple account and counts toward your personal iCloud storage. The developer does not operate a separate Recipe Pocket account system or advertising database.

Recipe websites

When you save a recipe link, Recipe Pocket requests that webpage to locate structured recipe information such as its title, image, ingredients, and instructions. That request is sent to the website you selected. The website may process the request according to its own privacy policy.

Tracking and advertising

Recipe Pocket does not track users across apps or websites and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

Data sharing

Recipe Pocket does not sell personal information. Recipe information is shared only when you intentionally use the system Share feature or when iCloud synchronization sends it to Apple’s CloudKit service.

Data control and deletion

You can edit or delete saved recipes inside Recipe Pocket. Recipe deletions synchronize through iCloud. You can also manage the app’s iCloud data through your Apple account and device settings.

Children

Recipe Pocket is a general-purpose recipe utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Recipe Pocket changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
